Adventures on the Eighth Continent

Join me in my mission to conserve and restore
the wonders of the natural world and empower
all those who live in it

My name is Katherine Culbertson and I’m an ecologist working to solve challenges in conservation and sustainable development. My current research centers on forest landscape restoration in Madagascar, which I stumbled into as a Peace Corps Volunteer serving in a rural village in an extensively deforested landscape.

Check out my current research and blog below, as well as a few resources I’ve compiled during my Peace Corps service.
